The product was fine, but Amazon apparently has some problem listing this one correctly. I was looking for this exact product, and found this "12 pk" for just a little more than the single units. What a deal, of course I'll take it. Amazon even says it lists for $39, so "you are saving $34". This is absolutely incorrect. We received the item, just one hood, and promptly called and emailed Sally Beauty. They say that they have tried to make Amazon correct this and they just won't. The product is fine, and Sally was even willing to refund with a return, so we are keeping it and not worrying about it, but the listing is totally misleading by Amazon. I'll report it, if I can find a way to do it.

This is ONE hood, not 12, as others have indicated. Here is the prompt, courteous description I got from vendor:
"Thank you for your feedback. The confusion on this item is that Amazon.com themselves also sells this identical item. We have brought this to Amazon.com attention numerous times.
The confusion comes up because we (Sally Beauty Supply) do not stock or sell this item as a 12 pack. We only sell this item as a single unit for $4.99. However, Amazon.com (they are the actual seller) sells this item as a 12 Pack for $24.52. If you look at the page closely it says 2 New From $4.99. If you click on the link you will see the two sellers of the item, Sally Beauty Supply and Amazon.com with the appropriate price differentiations noted.
The real confusion comes in because Amazon.com uses their product listing as the main description not ours. Their listing for the item is for a 12 pack so understandably the customer would think they would be getting a 12 pack.
We have complained to Amazon.com about this on several occasions with no luck in getting the main description changed."
I did not ask for refund because I do like the product! I am sure that Sally Beauty would have refunded if I had returned.
