I am happy with the nice case, and the handles of my brushes are pearly, not black. I did also have 1 bent brush, but on the same note, the angle it's bent to may help me, so I may still use it - it was one of the fine detail brushes, but lucky that there is another one very close in size.
Overall, I would say it is money well spent, even with the bent brush, as the dotting tools are included, and double sided for size variance.. All of the brushes except for the fan brushes (2) have plastic sleeves, and the case has 2 magnetic snaps. Perfect size to slide in my bin with all my other nail art supplies!
One note on shipping - I was not due to receive this until Dec 30th, as I ordered too later for christmas. I was SUPER pleased to see it come in on Christmas Eve day! Merry Chrstmas to me (since it was a self gift...)!
I thought this deal was too good to be true. I'm an art major and I do a lot of work with drawing inks. These brushes are high quality enough for me to use on my work. I'm tempted to just go ahead and do that. In an art shop, this set of brushes would cost upward of $75 without a case. Amazing deal
I bought them because I have just stopped a 15-year habit of nail biting and painting my nails nicely helps a ton. I have bought nail brushes like this before to help me quit biting, and I'll just say that they were cruddy compared to these. The array of brushes for this price is simply amazing. If you are just starting out with nail art, it may be a little overwhelming to deal with this many different brushes. As an artist who uses a lot of small brushes, I can assure you that each one will be perfect for achieving whatever you have in mind for your art, and it just takes practice and familiarizing yourself with the brushes.
I am very happy with this product and I will be recommending it. In short, it is an amazing value and I have no regrets from buying it.
